Raw Avocado Salsa Dip

3 large avocados

Juice of half a lemon

2 tbls extra virgin olive oil

Himalayan or sea salt to taste

1 small bunch of chives

Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

What to do:

Remove skin and pip of the avocados, place in a bowl and mash with a fork until soft.

Chop the chives into small pieces. Mix all ingredients together.

You can also add 1/2 cup of finely chopped tomato for a real salsa experience.

Serve with sliced cucumber, red capsicum or carrots as a dip. Or add to your favourite salad recipe.

Avocado Salsa dip is also ideal as a spread on crackers or toast.
