Hummus is a delicious and healthy Middle Eastern delight.
It is easy to make and you can use it as a dip, a spread a dressing on your salad and so on.
1 cup of fresh organic chickpeas
1 tblsp organic unhulled tahini
1 or 2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
2 tblsp coconut oil
Salt to taste
Fresh lemon juice to taste
What to do:
Soak the chickpeas in water over night.
Place all ingredients except for salt and lemon juice in the blender and blend. Add fresh filtered water to create the desired consistency.
Once blended add salt and lemon juice to taste.
