Steamed Green Vegetable Salad

1 broccoli

1 zucchini

1/2 cup snow peas

1/2 cup sunflower sprouts

1/2 cup fresh spinach

1 bunch of asparagus

4 yellow squash

Salad dressing:

1/4 cup of flaxeed oil

1/2 lemon juice

Sea salt or himalayan salt to taste

What to do:

Cut into pieces and then lightly steam broccoli, snow peas, zucchini and squash for approximately 8-10 minutes. Blanch asparagus for less than a minute in boiling water. Mix together in a bowl.

Add raw spinach, and sunflower sprouts. Mix all ingredients together.

Stir in salad dressing. I also like to add some raw sunflower seeds or pepitas over the top of the salad for added iron, protein and other important nutrients.
