1 cup of Almonds (soaked for at least 4 hours)
1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
1 teaspoon Coconut Nectar
1/2 teaspoon of Peruvian Sea Salt or Unprocessed Sea Salt is fine
1 pinch of vanilla powder or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
3 cups of filtered water
You will also need a Nut Milk Bag
What To Do:
Put the soked almonds inside a high speed blender and cover with filtered water. Add enough water so there is about 2inches floating above the nuts. Approximately one cup should do it. Blend for 1-2 minutes.
Holding your nut milk bag over a large bowl, pour the mixture from the blender inside of the nut milk bag. Squeeze so that all of the liquid pours into the bowl.
You will now have a bowl full of concentrated nut milk, and a nut milk bag full of almond meal. Set the almond meal aside for another recipe (such as our Raw Cacao Bliss Balls).
Return the ingredients from the bowl back inside the blender. Add another 2 cups of water. Add coconut oil, coconut nectar, sea salt and vanilla.
Blend all ingredients together for just 30 seconds.
Your beautiful nut milk is now ready to enjoy!
